On 6 August, the Curonian Spit History Museum hosted friends, colleagues, fellows and admirers of the work of PAULIUS NORMANTAS, a traveller, orientalist, photographer and poet. An opening of the exhibition “Vanishing Sources” by the artist, who passed away this year, was staged here (curator Vilma Samulionytė).

The exhibition was arranged on the basis of the first photography album of P. Normantas, “Vanishing Sources”, that saw the light in Hungary in 1990. The photography on display includes items from the stock of the Lithuanian Photographers Association that were taken and printed by the author before 1986.
