Nida Lighthouse and its approaches
August has become Lighthouse Month around the world. This is a great time to visit lighthouses and their surroundings. As part of its mission to promote, preserve and enhance the heritage of Nida Lighthouse, Nida Museums is proud to organise a weekend celebration of lighthouse heritage in Nida.

- 19 August (Friday)
14.00, 16.00, 18.00 Education for children and adults
20.00 Team welcome for the Vinetu Lituano Tour de Baltic team, cycling from Tallinn to Nida along the lighthouse roads
20.30 Lighting of the Nida lighthouse
Visiting Nida Lighthouse until 22.00
- 20 August (Saturday)
14.00, 16.00, 18.00 Education for children and adults
17.00 Excursion "Nida Lighthouse Road". Led by Dr. Nijolė Strakauskaitė (Klaipėda University)
20.00 Amateur radio education (organised by Tomas Jačionis (Vilnius Gediminas Technical University))
20.30 Lighting of the Nida Lighthouse
21.00 Music and light programme. Artistic director of Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra
