The Ancient Craft days took place on the quay of the Nida harbour on 4-5 August, an unconventional time for this event. It was replete with experimental archaeology professionals, authentic music, dancing, high spirits and nice people.  We are glad that the geography and spaces of the festival were expanded this year, this feast of live archaeology has turned international with the participation of MEROPE group and a concert given in the house of Eduardas Jonušas. Moreover, during the festival a theatrical tour was staged lifting the veil of the 1920s history and relating about inevitable changes that were unfolding on the Curonian Spit in the wake of the First World War. The participants of the tour had an opportunity not only to take pictures of themselves clad in the national costume, to listen to local ethnic songs, but also to watch various scenes from a daily life of šišioniškiai, a regional ethnic group, that was in full swing here a hundred years ago (the tour was arranged by the Authority of the Curonian Spit National Park in cooperation with the Museums of Neringa).

We thank you everyone who were involved in the making of this feast!
