On 26 August, the Curonian Spit History Museum was filled with a noisy crowd of children and the smell of delicious cookies and biscuits melting in the mouth... The Museums of Neringa decided to make a difference and mark the World Day of Lighthouses in a new way, and together with Lina Jaruševičiūtė arranged a workshop for baking cookies in the shape of the Nida lighthouse that was built by Germans in the second half of the nineteenth century. Other symbols of the Curonian Spit were also cooked, such as elks and sailboats, and fruits of one’s own creativity and fancy. We thank all the creative gourmets!
